With other phones Like the Polycom VVX 401 etc. The headset option is plugged in to the headset RJ11 socket on the phone
this give a wide choice of DECT based headsets. The main advantage DECT headsets have over Bluetooth is the Higher quality of sound and most importantly the range. with Bluetooth you are restricted to around 10 meters for the base, where as with DECT headsets you can use the headsets up to 100 meters or more from the base depending on model.
